Our 7206s (very under utilized) have following configuration.

Slot 0: C7200-I/O-FE (200 Points - Fast E)

Slot 1: PA-GE (400 Points - GigE)

Slot 2: PA-GE (400 Points - GigE)

Slot 3/4: PA-12E/2FE (300 Points - 2 x Fast E, vacant)

Slot 6: PA-GE (400 Points - GigE)

We have 800 on one bus and 900 on the other. Each bus has a maximum of
600 points. I was told that, if we exceed this limit on each bus,

1. Cisco refuses to provide support even though the router will function
2. And in some cases the router refuses to boot.

Any of these true?

Since these routers are very under utilized, I just don't want to
upgrade my Cisco 7206VXR (NPE300) just because we have exceeded the
points.

Thanks.
Vish
