Their machine is probably stuffed with old AOL installs, downloaded
wigits off the Internet, kazza versions, download accellerators, and 
all sorts of other nasty little programs that have inserted themselves
into the IP stack of the PC.

Nuke and Repave has always fixed these kinds of problems for our
clients.  Unfortunately some of the most screwed up systems their
owners are the most resistant to nuking. :-(
