Yep, you may want to configure switch vlan interfaces (SVI) instead
of subints on those cards, depending on what you are doing.

I doubt it's a priority, maybe more MPLS will make it one.
I will also note that supported != works, as vendor C's switch
gear seems to have a sub-optimal track record of keeping the
SNMP counters working and truthful, IHMO.
