It will probably never be exactly feature compatible with a 72xx.
For a 75xx it's pretty much there today except for the fact that
you can run 12.3T/12.4 features on a 75xx that it just picks up
because it's in those trains. The 75xx will not ship in 12.4T or
any future releases other than 12.0S/12.2S from what I have heard.

The 75xx still works well in the aggregation space for leased
line customers but it's quickly reaching scalability limits in
the pps numbers and features even in this space.
