Can't say anything about this, but if it's similar to the WIC-4ESW
(4-port ethernet switch WIC), it's a switch that is connected via
a vlan-capable "trunk" port to the router part of the box - so you
can use it as a "4-port switch, all ports same L2 domain" or "4 individual
routed ports" (with less than full 100 Mbit throughput, of course).
