[c-nsp] Interface does not show up in running config but can be configured

This is a 7206 NPE 400, it only has the 2 onboard ethernet ports as
interfaces.  I can configure
interfaces but they do not sho up in the running config. What do I do so the
interfaces show in the running config ?
