It depends on what services you plan to provide to those T1-connected
locations and what levels of traffic you want to handle. Forget about
full BGP feeds on an NPE-200, plus it won't take much traffic to really
tax the CPU.
Also, depending on the telco that's handing you these T1s, it may be
cheaper to have them delivered to you over a channelized DS3, then
terminate that in a PA-MC-T3 or PA-MC-T3+ on your router. Some telcos
charge significantly more for a T1 with two channel terminations (one at
the remote site, one facing your router). A channelized DS3 would
eliminate one channel termination for each T1.
