[c-nsp] STP interoperability

Hi,

We're planning to provide a redundant/failover L2 point-to-point link
solution to a
customer based on some flavor of the Spanning-Tree Protocol. On one end of
the link will be a 3750; on the other we have the option of dropping in a
2950 or a 3750, or utilizing the customer's existing HP / Netgear
infrastructure. There will be no trunking between the locations, and in the
short term, the 3750 will support (1) SVI and one routed port, possibly
growing to 2+ SVIs sometime in the future. For cost reasons, the customer
may prefer utilizing their existing hardware on the HP/Netgear side.

The one doubt I have at this point is whether I'm going to hit any
roadblocks attempting to set up 802.1D between the 3750 and some HP and/or
Netgear switches on the other end.

Any advice?

Thanks,
adam
