Besides the fact that it's done by someone who demonstrated knowledge 
about router products *a long time ago* - what does the box actually *do*?

Is it one of the famous BGP-routing "optimizers" that everybody loves
to show up on Geoff Huston's instability reports?  Is it a traffic shaper?
