Has anyone had any direct experience with the 96port rj45 cards, our
Cat 6500s have sup 720s in them, and all ports are 100Mbps/10Mbps so
we're trying to decide if we should go higher density instead of more
switches.
My main question is, (since there are no photos, diagrams on cisco's
site) Are the 96 ports actually on the card itself? or is there a
connector on the card which breaks out into port wire 'racks' that you
would install at the destination, and if there is a connector on the
card which connects to the wire rack, what type of media is it?
also any general comments about these cards are welcome.
thanks,
-Drew
