After looking at the 7600-ES20 docs
(http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps368/products_data_sheet0900aecd8057f3ad.html) i noticed the following 3 features:
QinQ Termination
Selective QinQ
Flexible QinQ
Besides the 1st one which is widely used in routers, i couldn't find any reference on CCO about the other two.
After googling a little, i found out both to be used by Huawei but no detailed info.
Does anyone know more info about these 2 features?
Also, when doing QinQ termination on a 6500/7600 is it possible to make it "internally" without using any physical port for
termination? Well, i probably guess no, since i would need subinterfaces under SVIs.
If a physical port has to be used, can i just connect the egress port of a 802.1q tunnel to an ES20 port and terminate QinQ there,
acting like the ES20 was just an external router?
example:
7600
+--------+ (QinQ termination)
| ES20 |------------+
| | |
| 6724 |---(trunk)--+
(tunnel port)----| 6748 | +--------+
| 6724 |--------(trunk)---------| router | (QinQ termination)
+--------+ +--------+
Finally, are there any other 6500/7600 cards that support QinQ termination?
