There is the argument made by some companies that a "war"
is the way to progress, forcing each BU to work harder
and to innovate/deliver faster.
Sometime this is true, especially if each BU is given
the freedom to cannibalize the other BUs market, but
if there is protectionizm within the company, the "free"
economic market will fail, and both may fail to maintain
leadership.
