The 'show interface capabilities..' command currently supports only
one-level (ie first ASIC) of port-ASIC group mapping.
For linecards with multiple-level ASICs, the 'Ports on ASIC' refers to the
group of ports connected to the top-level (like in the example give in the
thread) ASIC.
There is enhancement bug filed (CSCek37940), to include all level of ASIC
grouping.
Once the fix is available in a CCO release, the output would look like:
Ports on ASIC (Sub-ASIC): 1-24 (1-8)
