For a packets between the same host on the left and right side of the
channel (same MAC address), only one link will be used.  You need to have
traffic from or to multiple different hosts to see balancing.

(This is not completely correct: better switches will permit balancing
based on IP address, or even IP UDP/TCP ports, but on the lower-end switches,
balancing is mostly done on an XOR of src and dst MAC address -> so if
you have only two machines talking [could be "two routers!"], you won't
see balancing.  Period.)
