DFC is basically PFC on board a linecard, which means all decisions
regarding the packet (filtering, QoS, routing) are done in distributed
fashion vs centralized if You don't have DFC on the card (and the
PFC onboard a Sup is doing all the work).

Yes, because You don't have to run it in distributed way.
