We have a WS-X6748-GE-TX with WS-F6700-DFC3BXL (of course on a SUP720
with WS-F6K-PFC3BXL running 12.2(18)SXE4). We took one GE port and
defined the following on that one GE port:
policy-map IIX-OUT
class class-default
police cir 400000000 bc 12500000 pir 500000000 be 15625000
conform-action transmit exceed-action drop violate-action drop
Look at the attached graphs of test traffic and CPU of the SUP720. So the
word "distributed" isn't exactly accurate :-)
