HSSI can support 52 Mbits/s full duplex.  But, the highest commonly-used 
WAN protocol on the other side of the CSU will be DS-3 at 44.736 Mbits/s.

In a lab scenario with two HSSI interfaces back-to-back assuming you can 
find a HSSI null-modem cable (I've never seen one), you could 
theoretically get 52 Mbits/s at distances up to 50 feet (15 meters).
