[c-nsp] multiple repeated gigE card failures WS-X6748-GE-TX

Hi all,

I am trying to find out if anyone has seen issues with the
WS-X6748-GE-TX in a 6509 or a 6503 chassis (Sup 720 - 3B). I have had
4 cards fail on me in 3 seperate routers over the course of 4 months.
These routers are all geographically diverse.

I am running 122-18.SXD4.


TAC said that this card is not supported in the higher numbered slots
on a 6513 but 6509 ( slot 1) and 6503 (slot 2) should be fine. Hmmph.


Any help or clue is highly appreciated.
