[c-nsp] Would you multihome an Express 500?

Hi again,

 

I was planning to multihome a series of six Express 500 onto two 2970s, but
now I am thinking twice. If the access switches were, say, 2950s, I would
configure uplink fast, etc., and be able to examine STP configuration and
status; but that is not something you can do on Express 500s.

 

The 2970s and the Express 500 will be in the same rack, so I am not sure
multihoming makes sense.

 

What do you think?
