thank you for the many answers.

As you all suggested, I now configured IP addresses on the tunnel 
interfaces ('ip unnumbered LoopbackX' corresponding to the tunnel source 
addresses).

I don't want to run OSPF through the tunnel because than a lot of unwanted 
traffic would pass the tunnel. Using a few static routes only I want to do 
minimal routing just to keep the basic services running.

I'll test the tunnel connection in a few days. Because both router are 
running in a production environment it's a difficult situation and I must 
wait for an appropriate opportunity.
