I *knew* someone would have mentioned that. FWIW, this thing doesn't
work when asking for the route entry to one of my other routers, which
have a single entry in the DNS, either. Oh, but you remember all your
routers' IP addresses, don't you ?

IOS, on other platforms, just picks one of the replies, the same way
as other resolver libraries do. It's not an uncommon behaviour and
most tech people expect it. 

The point of my previous post is that IOS-XR needs some polishing in
the CLI, for things that taken on itself are minor, yes, but in the
end are an annoyance to those who have to _use_ the machine, because
they make them waste time.
