Yes - a 6509 with a sup720 and fully populated with 4x10GE or the 48 port
PoE blades will chew up a lot of juice, to the point where the 6000W 
power supplies become necessary.  We had to upgrade most of our core 
6509s to 3000W power supplies last year when we upgraded to the sup720s 
and started deploying 10GE and some of them will be upgraded to 6000W 
before too long.
