Looks like one of the interfaces is running at 100mbs the other is
running 1gbs. I would hard code both to either 100 or 1000 and then try
and configure them again.

Subject: [c-nsp] Cisco 6500 Port-Channel Problem.
Hi,
I've just tried to bring up a Port-Channel between two 6500s (Us ->
Supplier), and received the
following error:
Jul 19 18:16:55.829: %EC-SP-5-CANNOT_BUNDLE2: Gi5/8 is not compatible
with Gi5/4 and will be
suspended (Bcast Supp. Level of Gi5/8 is 100, Gi5/4 is 10000 )
I thought this may have been to do with some storm-control settings, but
there isn't anything on the
port which would affect it. Currently, the configuration is extremely
basic, and I'm still having no
joy.
Building configuration...
!
interface GigabitEthernet5/4
description 1 - July 06
no ip address
no cdp enable
channel-group 50 mode active
!
interface GigabitEthernet5/8
description 2 - July 06
no ip address
no cdp enable
channel-group 50 mode active
!
interface Port-channel50
ip address 192.168.0.2 255.255.255.252
end
It's running quite an old version of IOS, which could be the problem
(c6sup22-ps-mz.121-20.E.bin).
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Could changing the
port-channel from routed to a
switchport perhaps fix the issue?
Thanks in advance!
