[c-nsp] Fix for ADSL interoperability issues with 877 etc

Hi all,

I've been having a lot of problems with some ADSL connections and 877 routers
recently. No, I didn't open a TAC case because I thought it was a line fault
and was dealing with the provider. (In this particular case, it's a standard BT
ADSL product here in the UK, but local conditions and my relative inexperience
meant I thought it was a local problem)

There is basically zero info I could find on this procedure on CCO, which is a
big shame. I thought I would write this info down to be preserved :-)

Anyway, the ADSL interoperability problems are caused by old firmware on the
ADSL chipset. Upgrading the IOS doesn't fix this - I think the firmware is
bundled in to IOS but even in the latest for 877 (12.4(9)T) is a few versions
behind.

The procedure is this:

Login to CCO FTP with your username and password to
ftp://ftp-sj.cisco.com/pub/access/800/ and look at the documentation there.

Choose a firmware version (show dsl int atm0 shows current on your routers and
where it came from), download, rename to adsl_alc_20190.bin, upload to flash,
reload. After this procedure "show dsl int atm0" should show the new firmware
version. Hey presto, hopefully working ADSL.

I'm a bit miffed that Cisco haven't documented this. Several man-days of our
time would have been saved if this were the case.

Will
