[c-nsp] atm0 going down every five minutes (DSL: Defect: LOS LOF LCDi: retraining)

Maybe use an attenuator?
I had a problem with a cisco 827 router not connecting at all with a dslam, because it was too near.
After putting an attenuator in front of it, the connection worked fine.
