The WS-G5483 works fine other than reporting "media type is unknown 19". Watch our for the older WS-G5482 (in iMac-esq blue/white two tone) which are detected but do not get a link due to their higher power requirements.

Below is the output from a WS-G5483 on a PA-GE in my lab 7120, though I am sure this has been covered a couple of times on this list..
