Hi Guys,

I'm working in a Demo for a FRR implementation, and well I found today
(trying to configure a backup tunnel) this:

IP1CAN01(config)#int Serial0/1/0.1/1

IP1CAN01(config-if)# ip address 10.19.8.173 255.255.255.252

IP1CAN01(config-if)# no ip directed-broadcast

IP1CAN01(config-if)# load-interval 30

IP1CAN01(config-if)# mpls traffic-eng tunnels

IP1CAN01(config-if)# mpls traffic-eng backup-path Tunnel20021

%Warning: command not supported on interface Serial0/1/0.1/1

IP1CAN01(config-if)# mpls traffic-eng backup-path Tunnel30022

%Warning: command not supported on interface Serial0/1/0.1/1

IP1CAN01(config-if)# mpls traffic-eng attribute-flags 0x5

IP1CAN01(config-if)# tag-switching ip

IP1CAN01(config-if)#

This interface is created by a Sonet Controller using E3 mode / The same
applies for a Multilink interface

Can you guys please tell what alternative could I be using to provide
Link or Node Protection, besides tunning the IGP to get a better
convergence time?

Many thanks in advance

Victor.-
