[c-nsp] CDP Problem

Hello,

 

 

The company where I work has a network with 200 catalyst 3550 with IOS
Version 12.2(25)SEB4.  I have a script that open CDP to collect information,
after to finish the process the script close CDP.   When I run the script, 3
of the switches went down and the only way to recover those devices was to
reboot them.  I had to stop the script!!!

 

The executed commands were:

 

config terminal

 cdp run

 interface fa0/1

  cdp enable

  ...

 interface fa0/24

  cdp enable

end

 

Can somebody give me suggestions about de reason of this behavior?
