Thanks for the reply, Ian.  That's an IOS command, though, not CatOS.

In CatOS (on 6500/Sup32), "set errdisable disable" has these options (and
no undocumented "set errdisable disable gbic-invalid").

I'm going to try "set errdisable disable other" but given Sukumar's reply,
I'm not holding out hope.
