Just curious is anyone has experience or comments on running IOS
12.4 on any production environment on a 720x. We have the
requirements of using it for our existing requirements of PPPoE
support and ISIS (currently running either 12.2 or 12.3) with a new
requirement of L2TPv3 (using pseudowire-class) which I've only found
support for in 12.0S and 12.4. 12.0S doesn't support PPPoE from what
I've seen, so I'm stuck with 12.4. I've only run this on smaller
routers like the 18xx and 28xx for CPE applications. Anyone using it
for ADSL aggregation (mainly PPPoE) and L2TPv3 applications? I'm
mostly interested in stability/maturity of the code. Obviously it is
LD and not GD which I realize, but what are real experiences with it?
Thanks for any shared experiences!
