Matti,
I also have seen this error log:

*Apr 14 04:29:45 PDT: %PM_SCP-SP-2-LCP_FW_ERR_INFORM: Module 4 is experiencing the following error:
Port 0 BCast Suppress Value Changed: exp: 0xf actual:0x0

We have a 7606/sup 2, 12.1(27b)E1 with the same X6408A module in slot 4. We do have broadcast suppression running on both supervisor 2 gig eth ports but do not know why error log shows from mod 4.

Last night one 6509/sup2 running 12.2(18)SXF6 logged the following
message:

%PM_SCP-SP-2-LCP_FW_ERR_INFORM: Module 6 is experiencing the following error: Port 5 BCast Suppress Value Changed: exp: 0x0 actual:0x3

I couldn't find any information what the message means. Has anyone else
seen similar?

Module 6 is WS-X6408A-GBIC and the configuration of the interface Gi6/5
looks like this:

rtr#sh run int gi6/5
Building configuration...

Current configuration : 76 bytes
!
interface GigabitEthernet6/5
no ip address
shutdown
no cdp enable
end

Cheers,
