It depends on the flash type. If it's ATA flash, then it is called 
disk, not slot.

In catOS, you've never been able to "see" the flash on the sup from 
the MSFC. You can boot the MSFC2 from it, but you can't, eg, list the 
files on it etc. It is treated as a remote file system, similar to a 
tftp server etc.

The sup-slot0: & sup-bootflash: names are unique to native mode only.

You may be able to just change the config register to 0x2102 in the 
RP rommon (ie, after the SP hands over console to the RP) & then do a 
"reset" from the RP rommon, and that should trigger it to boot the 
image. Either that, or try explicitly booting sup-disk0:<filename> 
(without the expectation of being able to list the files) from the RP rommon.

Might be easier to diagnose if you send the output from the point 
where you start the boot process from the SP.
