[c-nsp] NM-16ESW Problem

Hi folks..
Having a problem passing layer3 traffic via SVI on a NM-16ESW module and
stumped ;)
Cisco 3825 router with (2) NM-16ESW modules:
interface FastEthernet2/1
description xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
switchport access vlan 30
interface Vlan30
description xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.153 255.255.255.248
VLAN exists in the VLAN Database ….
Can’t pass any traffic on this interface even if I connect my notebook
directly and try to ping the SVI interface:
