To my knowledge, Telus provides only an RFC1483 bridged solution, but that may only be for wholesalers. In that case, I don't know what they provide directly to end users.
But if they do, and it's MAC based authentication, they will probably accept any one single mac address on the link, or the first one received if multiple are broadcast.
I would be surprised if you had to manually register your MAC with Telus if it is MAC authentication though.

Subject: [c-nsp] Cisco 877 and Telus ADSL
Hi list,
does anyone have a working config for a Cisco 877 on Telus broadband?
I'm currently trying to configure one remotely and I'm having issues
finding documents on what authentication they use. The helpdesk has
mentioned they do it via Mac address which isnt something I'm use to
as over here in the UK we use PPPoA. Any insight would be appreciated.
Cheers,
W
