relationship with the activation key?

The activation key determines what license count is available. Otherwise
there is only the default of 2 contexts.

If it makes you feel any better, mine is the same and it's working just
fine.

In the following FWSM module i haven't used any activation key and i'm
getting "The Running Activation Key is not valid".
So, do i need an activation key and why?

============================================================
fwsm# sh activation-key
Serial Number: xxxxxx
Running Activation Key: 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000 The
Running Activation Key is not valid, using default settings:

Licensed features for this platform:
Maximum Interfaces : 300
Inside Hosts : Unlimited
Failover : Active/Active
VPN-DES : Enabled
VPN-3DES-AES : Enabled
Cut-through Proxy : Enabled
Guards : Enabled
URL Filtering : Enabled
Security Contexts : 2
GTP/GPRS : Disabled
VPN Peers : Unlimited

The flash activation key is the SAME as the running key.

I know that if i want more Security Contexts than the default 2+1, then i
need to buy the appropriate license (20,50,100,250), but does it have any
relationship with the activation key?
