Same boat here.  We have a number of 7206XVRs running 12.2(18)S and would 
like to avoid a few months of IOS roulette.  If there won't be a fixed 
12.2(18)S version, I wonder if upgrading to 12.3M is an option.  If 
feature navigator can be trusted, it doesn't look like there's anything 
we'd miss[1] moving to 12.3(21)M service provider.

[1] Actually, we do need per-VC queueing for ATM, and FN seems to think 
that feature hasn't made it beyond a few 12.2 trains.

I won't even mention our poor old AS5248s running 11.3AA code.  Cisco left 
them out in the cold ages ago. :(  Too bad they don't open source dead IOS 
versions.
