[c-nsp] Multilinking and incorrect weights

I've read the archive and know this question has bee asked before, but
not really answered!

I am running ppp multilink on dsl connections, a virtual template and
radius provide the virtual interface info. 
The IOS is 3825-SPSERVICESK9-M 12.3(14)T7

Individual connections ( the members of the MLPPP Bundle) are being
assigned different weights, I believe from the Service Provider, which
stops the bundle functioning correctly. Under the ipbase IOS, this was
solvable by resetting the 'bandwith' command of the virtual template. Of
course this resets all of the members of all of the bundles, but it
worked. In the spservices IOS it only sets the value of the MLP bundle.
Is there any solution (however kludgy) to this problem?
