Job Title TECH SUPT ENGINEER II

Position Description Incumbent will be responsible for highest tier network support within the National Technical Assistance Center (NTAC) Packet Data Network Team performing problem resolution, proactive network audits, maintenance, and configuration of the Sprint Nextel Networks in a 24x7 on-call environment. The incumbent will provide support on Packet Data hardware to include Cisco routers/switches/T1 Aggregators/firewalls and Juniper routers/firewalls/T1 Aggregators. The ability to use Network General sniffer/protocol analyzers in troubleshooting network anomalies will be required. The successful candidate will ensure NTAC standards are met and maintained at all sites via use of network management tools and through the creation of SLA's, MOP's and Visio drawings. The NTAC Network Team supports network connectivity for National Platforms, wireless data services, OAMP platforms and telephony elements across customer bearing, revenue generating Sprint Nextel Wireless, IDEN!
