Defintely 128 mb of RAM. The 256 you've got on the MSFC are enough,
unless you're taking a whole internet route table. The 7.1(1) BootRom
is the latest, no reason to upgrade. I think once you've got 256 on the
Sup, you'll be ok.

Thanks all for the suggestions. It appears there are 2 fold problems.
The previous engineer on this project informed me that the Sup2 was
upgraded to 256mb ram (it wasn't) and the MSFC was upgraded to 512 (it
wasn't). I've got a sup2 w/ 128 and an MSFC w/ 256.

As for the boot variables:
6506#sh bootvar
BOOT variable = disk0:s222-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin
CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist
BOOTLDR variable =
Configuration register is 0x2102
Standby is not up.

6506#rem com sw sh bootvar
BOOT variable = disk0:s222-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF9.bin
CONFIG_FILE variable =
BOOTLDR variable =
Configuration register is 0x2102

I does appear that the confreg settings are being propagated but perhaps
the boot rom needs to be upgraded as well.

Thanks for the help,

Bryan
