[c-nsp] 10Gigabit or other options for 12000 ?

Hi,

I'm looking into the options for going beyond 1Gbps on the 12k platform.

The current box is a 12404 with single PRP-2 and 4GE-SFP-LC

It looks like the 10G option is based on the SIP/SPA modules, and it doesnt
come cheap at all.
Other than that it looks like the other option would be POS based - which
may be OK for the WAN, but what about the LAN connections in the core
currently based on 7606-SUP720-3BXL - doest really make sense doing POS
across the room to link 12k to 7600 ?

any suggestions welcome
