Hi folks.
Anyone had any field experience with GBIC-RJ-45 converters? We
are considering testing a temporary Gig-E connection
between a PA-GE and 3560G UTP switch port.
Initial digging has pointed us to MRV's GBIC-GA-RJ (slots
straight into the GBIC port) and Lantech's CM-A1000L-GB
(requires fibre). There's, obviously, more out there.
Horror stories and alternative suggestions welcome.
All help appreciated.
Mark.
