I have a number of ISDN PRI running fine on AS5300 with IOS 12.1 for dialin
sessions. the config is very straightforward

I have upgraded a separate AS5300 box (known working on 12.1) to 12.2 (with
identical config) and moved the ISDN circuits over to this box, but they
failed to work.  no go at the physical level. E1 down, no D channel
established.

were there any major differences between 12.1 and 12.2 that require
different config for such setup ?
