Yes, I agree. Do you have any clue way some implementations use it? (or
just wrong configuration)

Using it cause IOS to send LDP hellos to remote routers. And establish
LDP session without need. Any comments?

Do you see any reason to enable LDP on tunnel interface when configuring
MPLS TE between PE routers?
(configure "mpls ip" under tunnel mode)

Doing research I found this:

"TE Tunnels Between P Routers
The configuration of a TE tunnel to support MPLS VPN traffic between P
routers is much the same as that for a tunnel between PE routers but
with one key difference on the head-end router: enabling LDP (or TDP) on
the tunnel interface."

But sometimes I saw configurations of MPLS TE between PE routers using
"mpls ip" under the tunnel.
