Hello people,
It seems, that I've either misunderstood the concepts of getting
qos-stats out of a c7200 :) or that there're some other problems with
that. Anyway, I kindly request any hints, that may help here :)
System is "Cisco 7206VXR (NPE-G1)" running
"c7200-advipservicesk9-mz.124-11.T1.bin" with the following
snmp-config:
"snmp-server community XXX RO YY
snmp-server ifindex persist
snmp-server enable traps tty
snmp mib persist cbqos"
I'm trying to fetch the queue-size, number of queue-drops etc. for
the different qos-classes using multiple "policy maps".
My first problem is, that I can not walk through
"1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.5.1.1.2":
"SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.166.1.5.1.1.2 = No Such Instance
currently exists at this OID".
The classes, however, are there:
snmpwalk -v 2c -c XXX a.b.c.d 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.7.1.1.1
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.166.1.7.1.1.1.1593 = STRING:
"class-default"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.166.1.7.1.1.1.309505 = STRING: "FTP"
SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.9.166.1.7.1.1.1.373985 = STRING: "VPN"
I consulted the Cisco SNMP Object Navigator, but it seems, that some
relevant subtrees, do not exist on that router.
What is the matter here? Does anyone have a howto or does know any
good scripts, that could accomplish the task of fetching the relevant
statistics? Do I have the wrong IOS or need to select another IOS?

Dennis
