No. The NSE-1 is dead, dead, dead. It was a (mostly failed) attempt at
speeding up *some* of the packet processing functions of 7200 routers,
for instance ACL handling. The NPE-G1/G2 both have significantly higher
forwarding performance than the NSE-1 ever did.
