Isn't SFP support in the new -E series gear offered by the TwinGig
converters (which convert an X2 port on the -E switch, to 2 SFP ports).

The Cisco TwinGig Converter Module (model CVR-X2-SFP), also known as the
converter module, has two small form-factor pluggable (SFP) module slots
that convert the 10-Gigabit slot into a dual SFP module interface to
establish Gigabit uplinks to network devices. The SFP modules have LC
connectors for fiber-optic connections or RJ-45 connectors for copper
connections.
