Hi Andrew,
I'm using ifInUcastPkts (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.11) and ifOutUcastPkts
(1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.17) on my 29xx's with MRTG. That grabs unicast
packets.
I also grab these iods:
ifInNUcastPkts (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.12) // "Not" Unicast packets,
ifOutNUcastPkts (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.18) // aka, Multicast and Broadcast packets
Technically, you should probably add these values together to get total
packets into the interface.
I hope that helps you.
