Hi,

This has happened twice in a row when we configured port-channels on our
core switches (C6509).
We saw RP utilization jump to almost 90% and at one point it hit 100%
causing our network to flap. We are able to calm it down by shutting the
port-channel but we are still scratching our heads as to what could have
caused this spike.

We've found this to be spurious and we were unable to track down what
was spiking the cpu.

The error message decoder off CCO is stating that this message is
informational and that no action is required <head scratching>?
