Hello,

This is not as technical question, but thats the place i know with a lot of
people with similar experiences, so i would appreciate your support.

My friend signed a contract with a Cisco partner for a 6 months project and
associated his CCIE to their profile to get the project, the email address
he used was created by the company and so when he left it was taken away,
all the Cisco sent reminder/alert emails were sent to an account that they
took away from him, so he had no way to see it.

He confirmed that when he left he changed his profile to reflect his new
job.

Later he left the field and joined a development company where he didnt need
to use his CCIE and accidentally found out after two years that they took
advantage and did not de-associate his CCIE from their profile and used it
to become a silver partner.

He tried to talk to their management and they offered $1k for half of the
period they used his CCIE and they said thats final.

Not to mention with the silver partnership they had they were able to get
discount from Cisco, get more projects and of course save a CCIE salary.

Why are they so confident that they are not going to get prosecuted, what is
the right course of action to do.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Kim
