Hi,

Just wondering whether anyone is running similar setup in their
environment with either HSRP or GLBP. Due to lack of hardware I'm unable
to create this scenario in my lab so any sort of feedback will be
greatly appreciated.

I have 2 routers in a HSRP setup where I have multiple p2p links coming
into ROUTER-A and ROUTER-B being used for dial-backup scenario.

Say if I lost a p2p link on ROUTER-A and in a tracking scenario for
multiple p2p links would ROUTER-A switch over to standby although other
p2p links off ROUTER-A are still up and running? Is there a way to track
via network or would GLBP be a better fit for this scenario.

           /---------ROUTER-A

          /             ||

                HSRP between these two SVI's

          \             ||

           \---------ROUTER-B

Let me know if you need further clarification.

regards,
/virendra
